Hanna's practice focuses on technology and intellectual property related transactions. As part of her practice, Hanna routinely structures, prepares, and negotiates agreements for technology, intellectual property, and content licenses (inbound and outbound), VAR, OEM, distribution, supply, strategic alliance, patent licenses, development services, hosting services, joint venture, internet portal, and other cross-promotion and marketing arrangements. She also provides guidance in the preparation of supporting documentation such as statements of work, service level agreements, product specifications, acceptance test plans and criteria, and other product and services related documents.


Prior to co-founding Technology Transactions Law Group, Hanna was the principal of the Law Offices of Hanna Bui-Eve in Mountain View, which she founded in October 2002. Before that she served as Senior Director and Legal Counsel of BeVocal, and spent four years at two major Silicon Valley law firms, Cooley Godward, and Fenwick & West. Hanna's current clients include Seagate Technology, Verigy, TiVo, Orb, PacketHop, Fiberxon, BeVocal, Meshnetics, MacXel, and Peralta Community College District.


Hanna received her law degree (cum laude) from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, in 1997. She was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Thurston Society. While at Hastings, Hanna served as an editor for the Hastings Law Journal and externed for the Honorable William H. Orrick of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She also is the author of To Hire Or Not To Hire, What Silicon Valley Employers Should Know About Hiring Competitors' Employees, 48 Hastings Law Journal 981 (1997). Hanna received her bachelor of science degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis in 1988.


Prior to attending law school, Hanna had her own technical recruiting firm supplying engineering talent for technology companies in Silicon Valley.
