Wayne has practiced in the area of technology law for more than 16 years. He has previously served as Senior Division Counsel and head of the law department for Motorola’s Computer Group, as Of Counsel and head of the intellectual property section for Jackson Tufts Cole & Black (a mid-size law firm in San Francisco and San Jose) and as Special Counsel for the licensing group of Cooley Godward (a national law firm, specializing in emerging technology companies). His range of technology transactions covers such areas as the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property rights for semiconductor, computer and internet companies, outsourcing of operations to domestic and foreign entities, technology asset transfers, warehousing and fulfillment agreements for internet and computer companies, worldwide trademark protection for name brands and intellectual property issues related to emerging technology companies. Wayne received his B.A. in Economics from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center.
